MCP server
TogetherDone runs a hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Connect it to Claude or ChatGPT and ask it to read your lists, add items, check things off, and tell you what's due. It works as you, with only the access you approve. Claude Code and other MCP clients connect the same way, with just the server URL.
https://mcp.togetherdone.app/mcpThat's all you enter. There's no client ID or secret to copy.
With its published identity, Claude proves the request comes from claude.ai, and TogetherDone checks that before showing the approval screen. Register automatically also connects, but the approval screen will mark the app as unverified. Claude's own custom connector guide covers the dialog in more detail.
Connect once on claude.ai and TogetherDone is available in Claude on the web and in Claude's desktop and mobile apps when you're signed in to the same account.
In Claude Code, sign in with your Claude account and the connector appears there too (run /mcp to see it). Or add TogetherDone to Claude Code on its own, then run /mcp and choose TogetherDone to sign in:
claude mcp add --transport http togetherdone https://mcp.togetherdone.app/mcpChatGPT asks you to confirm each change before it makes it, like adding an item or archiving a list. Looking things up doesn't need confirming. OpenAI's developer mode guide covers the settings in more detail.
The connection gives Claude or ChatGPT these tools. Each one needs the access shown beside it.

claude-web, and no client secret.Any MCP client that supports OAuth sign-in can connect. Add the server URL above as a remote (HTTP) MCP server and sign in when it asks. The app registers itself with TogetherDone, so the approval screen marks it as unverified and shows where approving will send you: approve only a connection you just started.
Desktop apps that finish signing in on this computer (such as editors that open a browser window) are supported. Apps that finish signing in through their own link scheme aren't yet. If an app can't connect, email support@togetherdone.app.
Building your own integration? The REST API works with a personal API key. Create one under API keys in your TogetherDone settings, then see the API documentation.
